Cincinnati Reds pitcher Jon Moscot has been optioned to Triple-A Louisville.
Moscot failed to record a win in five starts, most recently giving up five runs in 3 2/3 innings against the Washington Nationals.
It was an ugly stretch for Mosctot, whose 9.5 percent strikeout rate matched his walk rate while he posted an 8.02 ERA and 5.89 SIERA.
