Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Odubel Herrera is out of the starting lineup Monday night against the Chicago Cubs.
Peter Bourjos will start in center field and bat seventh versus Cubs left-hander Jon Lester. Tyler Goeddel is in left field and Jimmy Paredes will be in right.
Herrera is off to a great start this season slashing .317/.426/.436 with five home runs, seven stolen bases, and a .377 wOBA. His 15.7 walk percentage ranks sixth-best. Our models currently project Herrera to hit .282/.347/.399 with six home runs, 14 steals, and a .328 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
