Astros to ease off Luke Gregerson in closer's role
Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch said Sunday that the club will "ease off" pitcher Luke Gregerson for a bit in the closer's role.
Gregerson's blown save on Saturday was his fifth of the year, and has a 6.43 ERA over the past two weeks.
He ranks 192nd in the Majors with a 1.26 nERD, and while his 2.82 SIERA indicates he maybe hasn't been as bad as the numbers indicate, his 4.56 ERA is the highest of his career.
