Josh Donaldson is in Blue Jays' Sunday lineup
Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (thumb) is back in the Blue Jays' starting lineup Sunday against the Boston Red Sox.
Donaldson sat out Saturday with a jammed right thumb, but he's ready to go now. He's in the designated hitter spot Sunday, as Matt Dominguez is at third base. Edwin Encarnacion is at first base for the Jays while Justin Smoak gets a breather.
Donaldson is slashing .254/.358/.507 on the year, with a wOBA of .371. He has hit 13 home runs in 209 at bats this season.
