Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Connor Joe is in the starting lineup against right-hander Noah Syndergaard and the Los Angeles Dodgers in Tuesday's series opener.
Joe, who was held out of Sunday's lineup, will return to replace Canaan Smith-Njigba in right field and hit sixth.
