Jason Castro (flu) remains sidelined for Astros
Houston Astros catcher Jason Castro (flu) remains out of the lineup Friday against the Oakland Athletics.
Castro has been battling the flu for a few days. Evan Gattis will get another start at catcher and bat fifth. The Astros are also starting Jake Marisnick in center field over Carlos Gomez.
Castro is slashing .215/.349/.397 with four home runs and a .332 wOBA in 146 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .221/.312/.388 with 10 home runs and a .306 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
