Mike Trout returns to Angels lineup Tuesday
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is back in the starting lineup versus right-hander Clarke Schmidt and the New York Yankees in Tuesday's series opener.
Trout will replace Brett Phillips in center field and return to the two-hole after taking a breather in Monday's rainy matinee with the Boston Red Sox. Taylor Ward will move back into the leadoff spot while Shohei Ohtani will bat on the other side of Trout. Zach Neto will drop to eighth in the order after leading off Monday.
numberFire’s models project Trout ($4,400) for 12.4 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Angels' implied total is 4.37 and the game total is the second-highest of the day at 9.5.
