Ji-Man Choi sitting Wednesday afternoon for Pirates

Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman/designated hitter Ji-Man Choi is not in the starting lineup versus right-hander Jose Urquidy and the Houston Astros in Wednesday afternoon's series finale.

What It Means:

Andrew McCutchen will replace Choi as the Pirates' designated hitter and No. 3 batter. Carlos Santana will start on first base again. Choi hit a homer in each of the first two games of the series.

numberFire’s models project McCutchen ($3,000) for 8.5 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Santana ($2,600) is projected for 8.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates' implied total is 4.22 and the game total is 9.5.
