Shawn Tolleson expected to return on Friday for Texas
Texas Rangers reliever Shawn Tolleson is expected to return from the family medical emergency on Friday.
Tolleson is spending a week with his father, who is battling cancer. Sam Dyson took over as the Rangers' closer in mid-May and has been great in the role so far.
Tolleson owns an awful 10.13 ERA -- although his 4.34 xFIP is significantly lower -- in 16 innings pitched this season. Our models currently project him to record a 3.88 ERA and 22.3 strikeout percentage over the remaining course of the season.
