Cincinnati's Jon Moscot allows four homers in two innings

Cincinnati Reds pitcher Jon Moscot allowed seven runs, including four home runs, over two innings in Tuesday's 17-4 loss to the Colorado Rockies.

What It Means:

The young right-hander got a rude greeting in his first start off the disabled list, giving up eight hits in total. In fact, after the first three batters, Moscot was already down 3-0, and the Rockies plated two more in the inning.

Coors Field is a different animal, but the 24-year-old now has eight homers allowed through four starts. With a 6.21 SIERA, 8.1 percent strikeout rate and 10.3 walk rate, Moscot is having a rough season. He's slated to take the mound Sunday against the Washington Nationals.
