Los Angeles Angels infielder Cliff Pennington is expected to be placed back on the disabled list with a left hamstring strain.
Pennington just returned from the disabled list on Sunday, but he reaggravated his hamstring Tuesday while legging out a bunt single in the bottom of the seventh. The infielder is probably going to be out until mid-June.
Pennington has a .318 wOBA and one jack through 66 plate appearances. We project him to record a .272 wOBA in 123 plate appearances over the rest of the year.
