Cardinals' Jordan Walker batting eighth in MLB debut
St. Louis Cardinals rookie outfielder Jordan Walker will start in right field and hit eighth on Opening Day versus right-hander Alek Manoah and the Toronto Blue Jays.
What It Means:
The 20-year-old should be able to move up the order relatively quickly if he starts his career strong at the plate. Brendan Donovan and Lars Nootbaar will bat first and second, respectively, while Tommy Edman will close out the Cardinals' order. Paul DeJong (back) is on the injured list to start the season.
