Wander Franco in Rays' two-hole to begin season
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco will start at shortstop and hit second against left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez and the Detroit Tigers on Opening Day.
The switch-hitting Franco is ready to go after recently dealing with right quad tightness. Brandon Lowe, a lefty, will hit seventh versus the Tigers' southpaw. Here's the Rays' full Opening Day lineup: Yandy Diaz (1B), Franco (SS), Isaac Paredes (3B), Randy Arozarena (LF), Harold Ramirez (DH), Manuel Margot (RF), Lowe (2B), Christian Bethancourt (C), Jose Siri (CF).
numberFire's models project Franco ($3,100) for 10.6 FanDuel points on Opening Day. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays' implied total is 4.17 and the game total is 7.0.
