Nico Hoerner signs 3-year extension with Cubs
Chicago infielder Nico Hoerner signed a three-year extension with the Cubs worth up to $35 million.
Hoerner was drafted 24th overall by the Cubs in the 2018 draft and has spent his entire career with Chicago. Hoerner will be eligible for free agency at age 29. In 517 plate appearances last season, Hoerner hit 0.281 with 55 RBI, 10 homers, 60 runs, and 20 stolen bases.
