Astros' Kyle Tucker having ankle examined
Houston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker is scheduled to have his ankle looked at Wednesday afternoon.
Tucker was held out for Team USA in Tuesday's World Baseball Classic final loss to Team Japan because of ankle soreness. Astros manager Dusty Baker said Tucker is doing "better," but he still wants the club's training staff to take a peek. Tucker should be fine for Opening Day on March 30 versus the Chicago White Sox.
numberFire's models project Tucker to have a .277 batting average and .858 OPS across 630 plate appearances this season, with 29 homers, 94 RBI, 89 runs scored, and 19 steals.
