Cardinals' Stephen Piscotty scratched Monday with food poisoning

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty has been scratched from the lineup Monday due to food poisoning.

What It Means:

He was supposed to start in right field and bat cleanup in the series opener against Milwaukee Brewers right-handed starting pitcher Junior Guerra. First baseman/outfielder Brandon Moss is now starting in right and batting fifth, with first baseman Matt Adams at cleanup.

Piscotty is slashing .323/.395/.500 with a wOBA of .388 this year, as well as six home runs. We project that to taper off slightly as the season goes on, and he should have a .367 wOBA the rest of the way.
