Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross slugged the 100th home run of his career Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
It was a three-run blast during a four-run fourth inning against Adam Morgan. Ross intends to retire after the season and he’s going out strong.
The 39-year-old is batting .254/.349/.479 with four home runs and an .828 OPS in 88 total plate appearances this season.
