Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco (ankle) drove in two runs in his return to the lineup Friday against the Chicago Cubs.
Franco had a sacrifice fly in the third inning before driving in a run with an infield single in the seventh. The 23-year-old made an early exit from Wednesday’s game after spraining his right ankle, but he should be good to go moving forward.
Franco has a .263/.307/.446 slash in 192 plate appearances for the year while posting a .317 wOBA. He has 28 RBI's this season with eight long balls.
