Baker: Houston's Lance McCullers 'temporarily shut down' with arm soreness
According to manager Dustin Baker, Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers (arm) has been temporarily shut down.
After experiencing arm soreness from his recent bullpen session, McCullers will undergo treatment and take a break from throwing. Expect Hunter Brown to potentially see time in Houston's rotation if McCullers were to miss any time.
According to FantasySP.com, McCullers' average draft position in season-long leagues currently stands in the 11th round. In 47.2 innings last season, the 29-year old accounted for a 3.58 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating and a 25.6% K-rate.
