Ryan Hanigan (illness, neck) sitting out for Red Sox on Thursday
Boston Red Sox catcher Ryan Hanigan (illness, neck) is not in the lineup Thursday against the Colorado Rockies.
He left Wednesday's game with an illness and is also battling a neck injury. Christian Vazquez will draw another start behind the plate. Blake Swihart, who is starting in left field, will fill in if Vazquez leaves early.
Swihart makes for a great value play on DFS, according to numberFire's metrics. For the season, Hanigan is hitting .193/.270/.246 with a .238 wOBA across 63 plate appearances (18 games).
