Troy Tulowitzki (quad) not in Blue Jays' lineup on Wednesday
Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki (quad) is out of the starting lineup Wednesday against the New York Yankees.
Tulo made an early exit from Tuesday's game after experiencing tightness in his right quad. Ryan Goins will start at shortstop and bat eighth versus Ivan Nova. Devon Travis will make his season debut at second.
Tulowitzki is off to a slow start this season, slashing .209/.292/.393 with 8 home runs and a .298 wOBA in 185 plate appearances. Our models currently project him to hit .252/.331/.417 with 8 home runs and a .325 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
