Christian Yelich (back) remains sidelined for Miami
Miami Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich (back) remains out of the Marlins' starting lineup on Wednesday versus the Tampa Bay Rays.
Yelich has now missed four straight games with what's being called "back spasms." Cole Gillespie will start in left field and bat eighth against Matt Andriese.
Yelich is having an impressive start to the season, slashing .320/.420/.524 with five home runs, three steals and a .408 wOBA in 174 plate appearances. Our models currently project Yelich to hit .289/.373/.434 with nine home runs, 15 steals and a .353 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
