Kole Calhoun getting first day off Monday for Angels
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun is out of the starting lineup on Monday night against the Texas Rangers.
It's the first day off this season for Calhoun, who's slashing .290/.368/.407 with three home runs and 21 RBI's in 185 plate appearances. Rafael Ortega will start in right field and Shane Robinson is in left versus Derek Holland.
Calhoun has a .342 wOBA, which would be a new career high, in 185 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .259/.324/.408 with 12 home runs and a .318 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
