Christian Yelich (back) out of Marlins' lineup again Monday
Miami Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich (back) is out of the starting lineup again on Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Ichiro Suzuki will start in left field and bat leadoff versus Rays left-hander Matt Moore. J.T. Realmuto is batting third in the series opener at Marlins Park.
Yelich is having an impressive start to the season, slashing .320/.420/.524 with five home runs, three steals, and a .408 wOBA in 174 plate appearances. His 3.48 nERD ranks ninth best among all hitters. Our models currently project Yelich to hit .289/.371/.433 with nine home runs, 15 steals, and a .352 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
