Mets worried Lucas Duda is dealing with a disc issue
The New York Mets are worried that first baseman Lucas Duda is dealing with a disc issue and not something muscular that's causing his back soreness.
What It Means:
Duda has a doctor's visit scheduled Sunday morning which should shed some light on his back issue, but if he does have a disk issue that could land him on the disabled list. Eric Campbell is once again filling in for Duda at first base on Sunday and hitting seventh.
Duda is slashing .231/.297/.431 this season through 130 at bats. He has seven home runs and 19 RBIs, and owns a wOBA of only .312 in 2016.
