Erik Johnson to start second game of doubleheader Monday for White Sox

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Erik Johnson will start the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians.

What It Means:

He has made one other start for the big league club this season, allowing four runs on eight hits over five innings in a losing effort against the Boston Red Sox. He'll look for better results on Monday, but will head back to Triple-A regardless of the outcome.

Statistically speaking, Johnson has spun a 7.20 ERA, 2.20 WHIP and 24.00 strikeout percentage in five frames this season.
