Casey Kelly to be promoted, make start for Braves on Sunday
Atlanta Braves pitcher Casey Kelly is expected to be recalled to start on Sunday in Philadelphia against the Phillies.
What It Means:
The former top prospect made a relief appearance for the Braves earlier this season, but this will be his first start for them.
Kelly has posted a 2.63 ERA and 19.20 strikeout percentage over 37 2/3 innings at Triple-A Gwinnett this season. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues.
