Ryan Braun (back) out again Thursday as Brewers take on Cubs
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun (back) is out of the starting lineup again on Thursday afternoon.
Braun remains day-to-day with nagging stiffness in his lower back. He's also been bothered recently by right wrist soreness. Alex Presley is starting in left field and batting second Thursday versus the Chicago Cubs.
Braun is having a great start to the season, slashing .364/.429/.576 with seven home runs, 28 RBI's and a .418 wOBA in 147 plate appearances. Our models currently project him to hit .285/.360/.494 with 18 home runs, 13 steals, 62 RBI's and a .366 wOBA over the remaining course of the year.
