Astros' Tony Kemp to make debut Wednesday versus White Sox
Houston Astros left fielder Tony Kemp will make his major league debut against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday.
Kemp will man left field and bat ninth. He could see legitimate playing time in the near future as Carlos Gomez was just placed on the disabled list with a bruised rib cage.
Prior to his recent call to the majors, the 24-year-old Kemp held a .298/.410/.405 triple-slash with seven extra-base hits, 10 RBI's and four steals to his name across 148 plate appearances.
