Shane Greene (blister) to begin rehab Friday for Tigers
Detroit Tigers pitcher Shane Greene (blister) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Friday with Low-A West Michigan.
Greene has been on the disabled list since April 25 with a blister on his pitching hand. He had a 6.28 ERA in 14 1/3 innings before hitting the shelf and will probably be asked to make two minor league rehab starts. Michael Fulmer has struggled as his replacement.
Our models expect Greene to finish the year with a 5.48 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 15.0 strikeout percentage in 70 2/3 innings.
