Cincinnati Reds pitcher Ross Ohlendorf worked a scoreless inning in his return to action Tuesday versus the Cleveland Indians.
Ohlendorf was suspended three games by Major League Baseball last week for hitting David Freese with a pitch as part of a beanball war with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Including his scoreless frame Tuesday, the veteran right-handed reliever has a 5.30 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 25.32 strikeout percentage in 18 2/3 innings this season for the Reds.
