Tyler White homers twice in Houston's win over White Sox

Houston Astros infielder/designated hitter Tyler White launched two home runs, finishing 3-for-4 with two RBI's in a win against the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.

What It Means:

White also doubled in the game, matching his extra-base hit output since April 20. That was also the date of his last home run, after he hit five in the season's first few weeks. White did most of his damage against White Sox starter Carlos Rodon, mashing solo shots in the fourth and sixth innings.

After a torrid start, the first baseman has cooled to the tune of .252/.325/.514 slash line in 35 games. We project White to post a .303 wOBA with five more jacks the rest of the way.
