Oakland Athletics first baseman/left fielder Mark Canha will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a left hip impingement.
Canha suffered the injury last week. He's already been placed on the disabled list.
The 27-year-old finishes 2016 with a .122/.140/.341 batting line and .187 wOBA in 44 plate appearances (16 games). He logged three home runs and six RBI's this season.
