Cory Rasmus sent to Angels' 15-day disabled list
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Cory Rasmus was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a groin strain.
What It Means:
Rasmus told reporters Tuesday that he thinks the strain is minor, but he could still be looking at a lengthy absence.
The right-hander has posted a 5.59 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 14.29 strikeout percentage in 19 1/3 innings (one spot start, 10 relief appearances) this season.
