Angels lose Daniel Nava to groin strain
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Daniel Nava was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left groin.
Nava suffered the groin strain Monday night against the Dodgers. He's hoping to be ready for activation when first eligible, but these can be month-long injuries for outfielders. Shane Robinson replaced Nava on Monday and is starting in left field Tuesday. He carries no fantasy relevance, even in an elevated role.
He's had a rough start to the year, posting a .271 wOBA and ranking 240th with a -0.52 nERD, and we currently project him to hit an ugly .209/.278/.287 over the remainder of the season.
