Mets' Lucas Duda is sitting on Tuesday
New York Mets first baseman Lucas Duda is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Washington Nationals.
He's sitting against right-hander Max Scherzer while Eric Campbell will make the start at first base. It's a bit odd, so perhaps he's dealing with some sort of injury. There should be more clarity on the situation soon.
Duda is slashing .236/.299/.447 with 7 home runs and a .318 wOBA in 137 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .247/.330/.471 with 21 home runs and a .340 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
