Cameron Rupp (ankle) considered day-to-day for Phillies
Philadelphia Phillies catcher Cameron Rupp (ankle) is considered day-to-day.
Rupp is dealing with soreness in his left ankle and knee following Saturday's game-ending collision at home plate, but he's feeling better. Carlos Ruiz is starting behind the plate Monday against the Miami Marlins and Andres Blanco will serve as the backup.
Rupp is slashing .238/.256/.369 with one home run and a .270 wOBA in 86 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .227/.281/.368 with seven home runs and a .277 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
