Edmundo Sosa sitting for Phillies in NLDS Game 2
Philadelphia Phillies infielder Edmundo Sosa is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS on Wednesday against right-hander Kyle Wright and the Atlanta Braves.
Bryson Stott will replace Sosa at shortstop and hit ninth. In Game 1 on Tuesday, Sosa had a double, a sac fly, a walk, and a run scored.
Stott has a $2,300 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 8.5 FanDuel points. Wright recorded a 3.19 ERA and a 23.6% strikeout rate during the regular season, but he struggled a bit in the second half. The righty gave up 1.28 homers per nine innings and a 35.6% hard-hit rate after the break, compared to 0.74 taters per nine and a 26.8% hard-hit rate in the first half.
