Marcell Ozuna omitted from Braves' Game 1 lineup Tuesday
Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of the NLDS versus left-hander Ranger Suarez and the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Braves included Ozuna on their NLDS roster, but they are holding him out versus the Phillies' southpaw. William Contreras will work as the designated hitter and fifth batter for the Braves. Travis d'Arnaud will catch for Max Fried and hit sixth.
Contreras has a $2,900 salary on Tuesday and numberFire’s models project him for 11.9 FanDuel points. d'Arnaud has a $2,800 salary and is projected for 8.5 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves’ implied total (4.29) is second-highest out of the eight playoff teams today.
