Cincinnati Reds infielder Jonathan India (foot) was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against right-hander Adrian Sampson and the Chicago Cubs.
What It Means:
India was initially set to be the designated hitter and leadoff batter. Alejo Lopez has been added to the lineup to handle both of those responsibilities.
