Eduardo Escobar exits Mets' lineup Wednesday
New York Mets infielder Eduardo Escobar is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season finale against right-hander Erick Fedde and the Washington Nationals.
The Mets are giving Escobar and a few other regulars an early start into the postseason. Mark Vientos will cover third base and bat seventh.
Vientos has a $2,100 salary and numberFire's models project him for 5.9 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets' implied total (4.05) is tied for No. 8 in the majors today.
