Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Yandy Diaz is not starting in Wednesday's contest against the Boston Red Sox.
Diaz will take a break after Jonathan Aranda was moved to third base and David Peralta (hip) was positioned in left field.
Per Baseball Savant on 414 batted balls this season, Diaz has recorded a 4.8% barrel rate and a .365 expected weighted on-base average.
