San Francisco Giants pitcher Carlos Rodon is not starting in Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres.
Cobb will make his 28th start this season after it was decided Carlos Rodon would not take the mount on Tuesday night.
Through 144.2 innings this season, Cobb has recorded a 2.96 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating and a 23.6% strikeout percentage.
