Detroit Tigers infielder Jeimer Candelario is sitting Monday in the team's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Candelario is being replaced at third base by Kody Clemens versus Mariners starter George Kirby.
In 454 plate appearances this season, Candelario has a .211 batting average with a .628 OPS, 13 home runs, 47 runs and 48 RBI.
