Ji-Man Choi joining Rays' bench Monday
Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Rich Hill and the Boston Red Sox.
The lefty-hitting Choi will take a seat versus the Red Sox's southpaw as the Rays go with a righty-heavy lineup on Monday. Harold Ramirez will be on first base while Francisco Mejia works as the designated hitter and bats eighth. Christian Bethancourt will be behind the bag again.
Mejia has a $2,100 salary on Monday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.7 FanDuel points.
