Scooter Gennett activated off disabled list by Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers activated second baseman Scooter Gennett from the 15-day disabled list.
Gennett will rejoin the Brewers on Thursday night against the San Diego Padres after missing a little over two weeks with a strained right oblique. He was rocking a cool .877 OPS with four home runs over his first 18 games this season. Yadiel Rivera got pushed off the roster Thursday to open a spot.
Gennett is slashing .258/.361/.516 with a .374 wOBA in 72 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .259/.310/.398 with seven home runs and a .303 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
