Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Jonathan Aranda is not starting in Friday's contest against the Houston Astros.
Aranda will sit on the bench after Taylor Walls was chosen as Friday's second baseman.
According to Baseball Savant on 48 batted balls this season, Aranda has recorded a 8.3% barrel rate and a .309 expected weighted on-base average.
