Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Trayce Thompson has been scratched from the lineup Thursday in the team's game against the San Diego Padres.
Thompson is going to be away from the team for a day due to personal reasons. In his absence Thursday, Miguel Vargas will take over in left field.
In 237 plate appearances this season, Thompson has a .244 batting average with an .830 OPS, 12 home runs, 33 runs, 39 RBI and 3 stolen bases.
