Guardians' Will Brennan on bench Thursday
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Will Brennan is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against left-hander Jeffrey Springs and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The lefty-hitting Brennan will move to the bench against the Rays' southpaw. He started the first two games of the series and went 3-for-8 with a run, a walk, and two steals. Myles Straw will replace Brennan in center field and bat ninth.
Straw has a $2,500 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 6.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Guardians’ implied total (3.16) is No. 16 in the majors today out of 20 active teams.
