Zach McKinstry sitting Thursday for Cubs
Chicago Cubs infielder Zach McKinstry is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Ranger Suarez and the Philadelphia Phillies.
McKinstry started the last 12 games and led off 11 of them, but the lefty-hitter will take a seat versus the Phillies' southpaw in Thursday's matinee. Willson Contreras will take over as the Cubs' leadoff man and catch for rookie Javier Assad. Patrick Wisdom will move to the hot corner in place of McKinstry and work out of the cleanup spot. Seiya Suzuki will enter the lineup to play right field and hit second.
Suzuki has a $2,800 salary on Thursday and numberFire's models project him for 11.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs' implied total (3.15) is No. 15 in the majors today.
